With over 12 years of experience under his belt, Dhruv has worked internationally on large digital art installations. His interest in IoT grew as he realised how powerful the sensors have become, and how under-utilised they are in the industry right now.

Coming from architecture background, Nina has a keen eye for design is able to see through the complexity of any technology to find a real and interesting use case for it.
The Kickstarter which started it all !
Livegrid was succesfully funded on Kickstarter on June 2024, and succesfully shipped out all the rewards by the end of October 2024.
We have now properly setup and are ready for shipping Livegrid out to you.

How it all started?
WFH problems
It was during COVID pandemic, and we were really struggling with work - we were consistently tired and sleepy.
Plugging in a CO2 sensor lying around made us realise what’s going on.
First prototype
We made an early prototype to see the data, but found that the numbers are confusing and easy to ignore.
Making the data ‘prettier’ was not enough.
Spark of an idea
What if we could go beyond numbers, and show the data in form of a digital pet - like a Tamagotchi - whose health was tied to our environment?
Livegrid is born
We made our 2nd prototype, and everyone loved it! We decided to make a product out of it and put it out there, see what happens.
